Doris Louise Fries Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2020, at the age of 100, Doris Louise Fries of Holdrege, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Lippstreu and Emma Lippstreu (Kahrs); her husband Dale Robert Fries; her son Dudley; and her siblings, Lucille and Paul.

She is survived by: her sister Donna; her children, Dennis Fries (LaVonne) of Kearney and Deanne Berry (Gary) of Holdrege; her grandchildren, Amy Buhlke (Brian) of Central City, Christina Knispel (Chad) of Kearney, Heather Pierce (Trevor) of Seward, Todd Berry (Tania) of Topeka, Kansas, Troy Berry (Deann) of Fremont and Traci Ganser (Justin) of Holdrege; and her great grandchildren, Ella, Addie, Mimi Buhlke, Dalton High, Katie Knispel, Hazen, Anna Pierce, Cole, Tessa Berry, Alex, Zac, Max Berry, Grady, Garrett and Gage Ganser.

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, the family encourages proper social distancing and recommends that masks be worn during all services.
