We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Dennis N. Beckman of Holdrege, Nebraska. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Beckman and Ellen Beckman (Lindquist); his son David Dennis Beckman; his brothers, Darrell Beckman (Phyllis), Donald Beckman (Joan) and Dean Beckman (Joy); and his parents-in-law, Milford and Kathleen Skoog.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Beckman of Holdrege; his children, Debra Fountaine of Hastings, Nebraska and Steve Beckman of Holdrege; his grandchildren, Josh Fountaine of Omaha, Nebraska, Joe Beckman (Amanda) of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Megan Beckman of Austin, Texas and Drew Beckman (Kim) of Loomis, Nebraska; his great grandchildren, Michala Dunmire, Alex, Ava, Ellie Beckman, Konner, Baron and Baylen Beckman; and his brother-in-law Dan Skoog of Hastings. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home (401 Burlington St, Holdrege, NE 68949). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Bethel Lutheran Church (704 West Ave, Holdrege, NE 68949).
A memorial has been established in Dennis' honor, and kindly suggested to the Nebraska Prairie Museum.
