As we bid adieu to Marvin's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Marvin has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henrietta Dorn (Knaus) and Herman Dorn (Dink); his former wife Carol Poppert; his friend Jean Claude Von Dorn; his close friends, Angel, Dink, Penny and Skeeter; and his pet Shiska. He was also cherished by his cousins, extended family, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Craig Funeral Home - Jelden Chapel (212 Block Ave, Hildreth, NE 68947). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church - Hildreth (502 Sanders Ave, Hildreth, NE 68947).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marv's honor are kindly suggested to the Hildreth Volunteer Fire Department.
