With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary R. Alberts of Hildreth, Nebraska, born in Holdrege, Nebraska, who passed away on June 2, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert W. Alberts and Ethel M. Alberts (Knapp); his wife Sheralynn Alberts; his daughter Marilyn Reier; and his sisters, LaVonne Portz and Marilyn Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Millie Schenk (Dale) of Hildreth, Mardy Alberts of Minden and Matt Alberts (Brenda) of Axtell; his son-in-law Jim Reier of Kearney; his grandchildren, Christopher Schenk (Ashley), Tyler Schenk (Caroline), Sydney Alberts, Paul Carlson (Emily), Ben Alberts (Aliese), Robin Carlson (Trey Thompson) and Grant Alberts; his great grandchildren, Carson Schenk and Maverick DeLaet; and his brother Alan Alberts (Karen) of Hildreth. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives and close friends.
