It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wesley D Matthes of Hickman, Nebraska, who passed away on December 18, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wesley D Matthes to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto and Laura (Sieck); his wife Betty; and his brother Del. He is survived by: his children, Rick Matthes (Sheryl) and Pam Grossenbacher (Steve); his grandchildren, Tyler Grossenbacher (Ashley), Trevor Grossenbacher (Lydia), Stevie Wiley (Justin) and Trent Matthes (Meredith); his great grandchildren, Tate, Tysen, Declynne, Teagan, Adilynne, Cora, Harper and Landon; and his sister-in-law Judy Prange. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holland Church (22005 S 96th St, Hickman, NE 68372).
