He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pafford and Edna Pafford; his wife Barb; and his daughters, Robin Burns and Mary Williams.
He is survived by: his sons, Ray, Jr. of Hershey and Rodger of Texas; his stepsons, Riley Banderet of Oregon and Roger Banderet of Ogallala; his son-in-law Kevin Burns of Arizona; and his siblings, Dugan (Peg) of Wyoming and Mabel of Colorado. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren.
