It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Olinda Odean Boslau of Hershey, Nebraska, born in North Platte, Nebraska, who passed away on March 5, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Odean and Ollie Odean; her husband Byron Boslau; and her parents-in-law, Hank and Aladine Boslau.
She is survived by: her son Bradlee of Lincoln; her brother Rick Odean (Dodie) of North Platte; her cousins, Jack Moorhead (Peggy), Billy Moorhead (Jackie), Andy Olson (Marcia), John VanPelt, Gary Rickett (Carolyn), Jack Rickett (Pam), Georgena Arnett (Alan) and Donna Arnett (Bill); and her nephews, Greg Odean (Robin) of Lincoln and Josh Odean (Heather) of Matthews, NC. She is also survived by friends and classmates.
Face masks are required at the church.
In keeping with Olinda's wishes, and in lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory are to organizations close to her heart: Nebraska. Special Olympics, Lincoln YMCA, Edenton Christian Church or Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation for high school scholarships.
