With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Jay Whisler of Hershey, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 26, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arlene Whisler and John Whisler; his son Matthew Whisler; his daughter-in-law Lynette Whisler; his grandchildren, Rylie, Kyler Peck, Kalib Whisler, Rowan Whisler and Brett Whisler; his siblings, Jackie Kuskie, Joe (Gloria Whisler), Judi Shannon, Jeff Whisler, Josh (Jackie Whisler), Juanita Whisler, Jerry (Suzanne Whisler), Julie (Randy Perry), Bob (Laurie Faust), Lydia Faust and Bill (Brenda Faust); his son Nicholas; his parents-in-law, Robert and Carol Faust; his brothers, John Whisler and Jack Gene Whisler; his brothers-in-law, Jeff Faust, Duane Shannon and Jack Kuskie; and his nephews, Ryan Perry and Little John Whisler.
A burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Vernon Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025.
Memorials can be made in Jay's memory to the Hershey Volunteer Fire Department.
