She was predeceased by: her daughters, Jerilyn and Carolyn; her son-in-law Kenneth Boss; and her brother Maynard. She is survived by: her daughter Elta Bohling (Oestmann); her husband Mervin Thayer of Ruskin; her children, Jeff Thayer of Fairfield, Pat Boss of Davenport, Barry Thayer (Janet) of Silverlake, Kathy Ross (Jay) of Superior, Michelle Peterson (Chris) of Superior and Michael Thayer of Grand Island; her grandchildren, Dakota (Ashley Overturf), Cherokee (Dylan Schofield), Travis (Ariele), Kayla, Natasha (Ricky), Haley (Luke), Evan (Taylor), Brett, Ethan, Colin and Christopher (Abby); her great grandchildren, Finley, Ezra, Lennon, Abel, Bellamy, Landry, Loudon, Porter, Lulea, Piper and Kooper; her siblings, Ronnie Bohling, Lorraine Anderson (Kenny), Verdell Bohling and Debbie Judy (Dave); and her sister-in-law Ellen Bohling.

Merv a loss of your spouse is so hard but now Ramona is free from pain and suffering and in God's loving hands.”
