He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Vogel and Charlotte "Lottie" Vogel (Petersen); his parents-in-law, John and Helen Mitchell; his sister Elaine "Sue" Gourley; and his brother-in-law Jon Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Vogel of Herman; his children, Roger Vogel (June) of Fremont, NE, Vickie Boss (Terry) of Columbus, John Vogel (Betsy) of Battlefield, MO and Deann Engberg (Scott) of Omaha, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Matt Vogel, Koryn Hansen (Kurt), Mitch Vogel, Tonya Runion (Rob), Jodie Wachal (John), Curt Maly (Carlyn Ulrike), Steve Maly (Heather) and Mark Maly (Hillary); and his great grandchildren, Caiden, Kenley, Cody Hansen, Nolan, Carter Runion, Emma, Madison, Riley Wachal, Alexis, Finley, Jack Maly and Aurelia Maly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
