He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan C. Goertzen and Anna Goertzen (Janzen); his parents-in-law, Clarence and Martha Peters; and his grandson Jacob D Stauffer.
He is survived by: his wife Rosella Peters; his children, Kurt, Kathryn Goertzen, Bonnie and Lanny Stauffer; his grandchildren, Kelsey, Mike Bergen, Kellen Goertzen, John, Tracy Stauffer and Jared Stauffer; his great grandchildren, Jax, Jase Bergen, Haysley and Hazlyn Stauffer; his sister Janet; and his siblings-in-law, Myron Peters, Lorraine and Dennis Kroeker.
