We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2022, at the age of 80, Roger Allen Wiebe of Henderson, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Wiebe and Elisabeth Wiebe (Rempel); and his brother-in-law Steven Webb. He is survived by: his daughters, Yvette Craigmile (Justin) of Kihei, HI and Deanne Bishop (Jayson) of Grant, NE; his grandchildren, Meghan, Myles and Lauren; his daughter Karis King (Shane) of Bennet, NE; his grandchildren, Ayden, Evan and Korbin; his wife Coletta; his sister Elaine Penner (Harold) of Beatrice, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Lora (Alice) of Bluffton, OH, Gary Lora (Donna) of Findlay, OH and Gloria Webb of Boise, ID. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials may be directed to Community Bible Church, Samaritan's Purse Ministry, or Turning Point Ministry.

“When Roger and Coletta came to Northeast Brazil in early 1970s, they settled in a small village called Belem de Maria. Roger developed a clever way to dig wells in the sandy soils there. He had local people make concrete rings with locally-made forms in concentric sizes that would slide down inside each other, allowing wells to be dug much faster and safer than traditional methods, providing much-needed employment to many. Coletta was much loved there too. Don Ranck, MCC Country Dir, '72-'75”
