He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard L. Welch and Agusta Ruth Welch (Thurman); his brother Larry Welch; his sister-in-law Linda; and his sister Jeanie Kay Welch.
He is survived by: his wife Sharyn K. Smith of Henderson; his children, Christy DeBraal (Joe Park) and Tim Welch (Vicki) of York; his grandchildren, Aubrey Conner (Kevin) of Topeka, KS, Anthony Park of Henderson, Andrew Park (Ali) of Henderson and Aiden Park of Henderson; and his nephew Larry Welch, Jr.. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the York Adopt-A-Pet.
