He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Dean and Patty Dean (Maxwell); and his brother Harry Dean. He is survived by: his wife Diane Saari of Henderson; his children, Jason Dean of Omaha, NE, Jeremy Dean (Eva) of Weeping Water, NE, Jonathan Dean of Henderson, Lucas Hendrickson of Pasadena, MD, Michelle Claus of Lincoln, NE and Marcena Dean of Pawnee City, NE; his grandchildren, Kiera Dean of Wann, NE, Elizabeth Dean of Omaha, James Dean of Weeping Water, Jaxton Dean of Weeping Water, Nathan Matlock of Hickman, NE, Colton Matlock of Hickman, NE and Breann Matlock of Lincoln; and his siblings, Scott Dean of Lincoln and Lucinda Dean of Katy, TX..
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Metz Chapel (109 S Lincoln Ave, York, NE 68467).
