It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Wehtje of Hemingford, Nebraska, born in Walla Walla, Washington, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert Wehtje of Hemingford, NE; his former wife Cindee Wehtje (Werts); his sister Renee Wehtje; and his mother-in-law Lilly Steele. He is survived by: his mother Marcia Wehtje (Howard) of Walla Walla, WA.; his wife Lisa Wehtje (Ward); his children, Brandi (Wehtje), Lawrence, Heather, Zachery and Nicholas Callahan; his grandchildren, Ava Wehtje, Megan Callahan, Macy Sands, Kameron Callahan, Navaeh Sands and Jaxson Callahan; his siblings, Ron Wehtje, Diana (Wehtje), Gustavsen and Curt Wehtje; and his stepmother Rose Wehtje. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
