It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Delores A Cotant Farrar of Hemingford, Nebraska, who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcus Gasseling and Agnes Gasseling (Hovorka) of Hemingford, Nebraska.; her parents-in-law, Harvey and Elva Cotant; her husband Harold Cotant; her brother Adrian Gasseling; her siblings-in-law, Garry Cotant, Willis Cotant, Dale Barr and Shirley Shears (Cotant); her nephew Kenley; and her niece Tina.
She is survived by: her friend Chadron; her children, Steve (Laurie) of Henry, NE, Sarah Jenkins (Corey) of Sidney, NE and Marc (Kyla) of Hemingford, NE.; her grandchildren, Jessica, Allison, Shirley, Tyrell, Landrie, Wyatt, Kinlee, Bryley, Lane and Jaylea; her siblings-in-law, Marion Gasseling, Vonnie Barr, Mary Jane Younkin (Don), Sharyl Cotant, Linda Cotant, Douglas Cotant, Dennis'Mick' Cotant (Mica) and Vernon Shears; and her stepchildren, Roger Farrar (Jolene), Harold Farrar, Sue Knolles (Ken) and Michelle Wilson. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, dear friends and neighbors.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chadron Bible Church (407 Shelton St, Chadron, NE 69337). A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cedarview Cemetery.
