He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Everett Mieth and Augusta Mieth (Luhn); his spouse Kathleen Wehrman of Nelson; his siblings, Stuart Mieth, Paul Mieth, Margaret Quaring and Clarice Wilcox; his children, Mary Lontchar, David Lontchar of Gig Harbor, Linda Krenke, Alan Krenke, Douglas Mieth, Susan Mieth, Bruce Mieth and Carla Mieth; his grandchildren, Rachel McCreight, Gregory Lontchar, Adam Krenke, Alex Krenke, Amelia Boggess, Sarah Mieth, Kara Hinrichs, Dylan Mieth, Kayla Oman and Bryanne Mieth; and his great grandchildren, Brooke McCreight, Grey Krenke, Evelyn Hinrichs, Ada Hinrichs and Everett Mieth. He was also cherished by many other relatives and a community of friends.
His most rewarding and memorable contribution to the Hebron Community came in 2006, when he partnered with Blue Valley Lutheran Homes in the establishment of The Gardens, a specialized care unit for patients with Alzheimer's disease, the disease that took Kathy from him.
