He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Baloun); his sons, Lenny Schmit (Kathy) of Fairbury, Bradley Schmit (Diane) of Olathe and Ricky Schmit (Brandi Lines) of Fairbury; his sister Linda Moore of Opelika; his brother-in-law Darrel Welch of Gohner, NE; his sister Adella; and his brother-in-law Charles Thompson of Belleville, KS. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
