He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrel Goedeken and Garnet Goedeken. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Goedeken; his siblings, Dan Goedeken (Pam), Richard Goedeken (Wendy) and LeAnn Goedeken; his children, Sarita Panowicz (John), Zach Goedeken (Tiffanie) and Caleb Goedeken (Kayla); and his grandchildren, Rylan, Annabelle, Raelynn and Adeline.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kroll-Massey Funeral Home - Hebron (330 N 5th St, Hebron, NE 68370). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hebron Methodist Church-Hebron (701 Lincoln Ave, Hebron, NE 68370).

Memorials may be made to the City of Hebron with the memo of Loren Goedeken Memorial where contributions will go towards a bench in his memory at the baseball complex.
