He is survived by: his wife Janet Krueger of Hebron; his children, Jeff Pierce (Connie) of Pierce, SD, Scott Hinze (Shelly) of Palmyra, NE, Cindy Houtwed (David) of Cunningham, KS and Janyce McCallon (Mark) of Colorado Springs, CO; his sister Dorothy Pastian of Tripp, SD; and his grandchildren, Matt Houtwed (Marie) of Pratt, KS, Kristen Young (Todd) of Turon, KS, Brian Houtwed (Samantha) of Greensburg, KS, Melissa Topil (Noah) of Omaha, NE, Nick Hinze (Ali) of Lincoln, NE, Tyson Pierce (Kassi) of Sioux Fall, SD, Allyson Pierce of Omaha, NE, Jordan Smith (Jeff Titus) of Buena Vista, CO, Jerrod Smith of Colorado Springs, CO and Hope Smith of Colorado Springs, CO. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
