He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Russell and Alvada Russell (Keldsen); and his brother Lyle Russell. He is survived by: his wife JoEllen Matejka; his sons, Andrew Russell (Tiffany) of Overland Park, KS and Daniel Russell (Anna) of Holdrege; his grandchildren, Jaiden, Alexander, Nathan, Joseph and Elijah; and his siblings, Lonnie Russell (Marty) of Hazard and Connie Hyde of Hastings. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and close friends.
