It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ronald Russell of Hazard, Nebraska, born in Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away on May 13, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Russell and Alvada Russell (Keldsen); and his brother Lyle Russell. He is survived by: his wife JoEllen Matejka; his sons, Andrew Russell (Tiffany) of Overland Park, KS and Daniel Russell (Anna) of Holdrege; his grandchildren, Jaiden, Alexander, Nathan, Joseph and Elijah; and his siblings, Lonnie Russell (Marty) of Hazard and Connie Hyde of Hastings. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and close friends.

Memorials are suggested to Morrison Cancer Center, Hastings.
