Richard Peterson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Peterson (Hayes Center, Nebraska), born in Palisade, Nebraska, who passed away on December 7, 2019 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Peterson to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Peterson and Bertha Peterson (Kittle); his wife Norma Peterson (Nitsch); his siblings, Marvin Peterson and Ruth Ward (Robert); his father-in-law Carl Nitsch (Leona); his siblings-in-law, Joe Nitsch and Carol Fuller (Elden); his children, Bruce Peterson and Lana May (Rick) of Hayes Center; his grandchildren, Nolan May (Erin) of Kearney, NE and Rhea Softley (Craig) of Hayes Center; and his great grandchildren, Blaire, Caylie, Carly, Eli, Cydney, Colton, Tyler and Celia. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins.

With Bruce's assistance, Richard was able to stay in that home his entire life, even though he struggled with Parkinson's Disease.
