He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Natter and Lois Whetstine Van Natter; and his nephew Gregory Paul Mitchell. He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Paul (Carol) and Ruth Jean; his son Michael Cottier (Sidney) of Gurley; his nephews, Charlie, Kim Mitchell, Clark and Stacey Mitchell; his uncle James Whetstine; and his close friends, Neva Bartlett, Dave, Deb Cottier of Chadron, Darlene Cottier, Travis, Karen Peterson and Teri Youngberg.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chamberlain Chapel (1700 US-20, Chadron, NE 69337). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
