He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Ganow and Leona Ganow (Ullom); and his wife Celia Madsen. He is survived by: his children, Marc (Erin Ganow) and Susan Jack; his grandchildren, Michael Ganow, Jessica Ganow, Sasha Adams, Ashlee Walston, Brandon Hay, Summer Mehler, Cory Mehler, Sabrina Walston and Zach Perkins; and his great grandchildren, Luke Hay, Luella Walston, Dahlia Walston and Troy Miller.

Memorials may be given to First Presbyterian Church.
