Walter Stark Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Stark Jr. of Hastings, Nebraska, born in Ragan, Nebraska, who passed away on November 8, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter John Stark and Elsie Stark (Murphy); his daughter Connie Stark; his grandson Christopher Lovegrove; his siblings, Darrell "Dee" Stark (Beverly) and Kathryn Shield; his siblings-in-law, Dean Sprague and Dorothy Nelson (Maynard); and his niece Darla Cohagan.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Lee Sprague of Hastings, Nebraska; his children, Michael Stark (Marletta) of Crete, Nebraska, Joy Stoltenberg (Scott) of Morrill, Nebraska and Beth Lovegrove (John) of Hastings; his grandchildren, Michelle Myers (LarTee) of Columbia, Kristina Stark of Crete and Andy Lovegrove of Superior; his granddaughter-in-law Britni Lovegrove of Superior; his great grandchildren, Corrine Myers, Erin Myers, Nicholas Martozie and Kylee Roberts; and his brother Jerrold Stark (Betty) of Hays, Kansas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Due to health concerns, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic; current CDC and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services guidelines for Faith-Based Services and Gatherings will be followed.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in John's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
