Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Vernon Yung of Hastings, Nebraska, born in Superior, Nebraska, who passed away at the age of 62, on August 12, 2020. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Russell Yung and Hilda Yung (Keller); and his siblings, Wilda Leisy (Darrell) of Atkinson, Gordon Yung (Teressa) of Holdrege and Byron Yung (Brenda) of Lincoln. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins and one aunt.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established for the Special Olympics of Nebraska and First St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
