He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Copple and Velma Copple (Druecker); his brother Bill Copple; and his sisters-in-law, Charlene Copple (Gingrich) and Julie Copple (Billings Relford).
He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Yvette Copple-Muhs of Newton, KS and Kirk Copple of Charleston, SC; his grandchildren, Tatyanna Hiserote (Brian) of Louisville, KY and Reuben Muhs (Morgan) of Minneapolis, MN; his great grandchild Tabitha Hiserote of Louisville; and his siblings, Janelle Ernst of Hastings, Bradley Copple (Connie) of Hastings and Brian Copple (Javier) of Melbourne, Australia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
