She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Meerkatz and Darlene Meerkatz (Lampshire); and her brother Gene. She is survived by: her husband Larry Podewitz; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Meerkatz (Sedro). She is also survived by Nieces: 2 Nephew: 1 Great-Nieces: 3 Great-Nephew: 1 Mother-in-law & Father-in-law.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
