Though Sara Myers Dougherty may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sara Myers Dougherty touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Claren R. Kerr; her husband Jerry; and her son Claren (Bev). She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Robertson (Alan) and Jerr (Jennifer); and her children-in-law, Dr. Alan Robertson and Jennifer Kerr. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (614 N Hastings Ave, Hastings, NE 68901).
