He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leon Kort and Helen Kort (Householder); his son Scott; his wife Betty Kort; his daughters, Julie Wall (Robert Wall) of Frisco, TX and Amy Kort (George Smaragdis) of Arlington, VA; his brothers, Roger Kort of Colorado Springs, CO and Rick Kort (Barbara) of Lincoln, NE; and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Zoey, Sophia Wall, John and Andrew Smaragdis.
