He was predeceased by: his parents, Obie Vestal and Golda Lee Chamberlain (Clary); his wife Bonnie; and his brothers, Bruce Lee Chamberlain and Cecil Chamberlain.

He is survived by: his son James Chamberlain (Elizabeth) of Hastings; and his grandson Luke James.

Memorials may be given to First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hastings.
