He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dowie and Eda Mae Kilburn Crandell. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Aufdengarten (Kyle), Richard Crandell (Rickie), Rebecca Crandell, Beverly Rocha (Bobby), Robert Crandell Jr. (Shari) and Stanley Crandell (Max); and his wife Hazel Luetta Robinson of Brule. He is also survived by his children; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; siblings; along with many other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established in Robert's memory for later designation.
