He is survived by: his former wife Carol Lee Carman; his stepgrandsons, Dan and Tom; his close friend Joan Hermes; his children, Mike Nickman (Denise) of Pleasanton, Steve Hartman (Deb) of Grand Island, Dave Hartman (Teresa) of Omaha, Dan Hartman of Houston, Tom Hartman (Carlotta) of Grand Island, Pam Wetzel (Jim) of Grand Island, Barb Mendyk (Doug) of Scotia and Carolyn Trieschman (Paul) of Houston; and his brothers, Gary Hartman (Kathie) of Mesquite and Dan Hartman (Bev) of Omaha. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
