He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Pennington and Edna Pennington (Grover). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Pennington of Hastings, NE; his children, Rick Pennington (Sarah Murphy) of Fremont, NE and Angie Carnahan (Steve) of Fremont, NE; his stepchildren, Brook Newman of Hastings, NE and Nick Newman of Hastings, NE; and his pets, Cooper and Teddy. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister; two brothers.
