He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Marquardt and Katherine Marquardt (Niederhaus); his wife Ardyce L. Marquardt; his son-in-law Scott Sell; his brother Ronald Marquardt; and his close friend Betty Meyer.

He is survived by: his son Rick Marquardt.

Memorials may be given to Start Over Rover or Hastings DAV.
