He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hinrichs and Theda Hinrichs (Mensen); his daughter Cheryl Hinrichs; his daughter-in-law Lisa Hagemeier-Hinrichs; his siblings, Harold Hinrichs, Ruth Tropello (Harry) and JoAnn Davis (Richard); and his sisters-in-law, Delores Sinsel and Betty Yankton.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Hinrichs; his son Michael Hinrichs (Victoria); his grandchildren, Lindsey Menke (Keith) and Joshua Hinrichs (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Kolten Menke and Sawyer Menke; and his siblings-in-law, Wanda Hinrichs, Eva Jean Keen and Donald Sinsel. He is also survived by Numerous Nieces & Nephews.
