He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Munsell and Ethel Munsell (Chance); his siblings, Burl Munsell and Gwen Zinner Phipps; and his grandson Jeremy Terhune.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Munsell of Hastings; his children, Vickie (Eddie Terhune) of North Judson, Barry (Marlene) of Wasilla, Paul (Lila) of Hastings, Jerry (Mary) of Kearney and Donna Munsell of Hastings; his foster daughter Donna (Dave Uden) of Kenesaw, Nebraska.; his grandchildren, James Terhune, Philip Terhune (Allison), Jessica (Robert Moen), Alan Munsell (Emily), Carrie (Jacob Svoboda), Jennifer (Ian Nicas), Jacob Munsell, Megan (Mark Blinde), Sarah Uden and Elizabeth Montemayor; and his great grandchildren, James Reed, Evan Richard, Luke Paul, Azaria May Nicas, Ava Lily, Emma Claire, Max Kolbe, Charlie Alan, Jett Hudson, Gus Thomas Munsell, Adelyn Lauren, Brianna Lynn, Whitney Ann, Weston James Terhune, Ezekiel Emmett, Eliza Jo Munsell, Emelina Ruth, Linnea Marie Moen, Lucy Mae and Theo Louis Svoboda.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DeWitt Funeral Home (604 S Burlington Ave, Hastings, NE 68901). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Christ (1131 N Laird Ave, Hastings, NE 68901).
