He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Getz and Grace Getz (Bowman); and his son Kevin Perry. He is survived by: his spouse Dee Watts; his grandchildren, Dusty Perry (David Donohoe) of Utica, NE, Sarah Lahners (Adam) of Carleton, NE and Jesurun Perry (Desiray) of Utica, NE; and his great grandchildren, Tyler Perry, Terin Donohoe, Parker Perry, Scarlett Perry and Everett Lahners.
Memorials may be given to the 1st United Methodist Church, Hastings.
