We bid farewell to Ralph A. Hert of Hastings, Nebraska, born in Omaha, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 3, 2024 at the age of 87. Ralph touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph L. Hert and Catherine Hert (Engels); and his sons, Robert Hert and David Hert. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hert; his children, Julie (Tim Kilton), Ralph (Kellie Hert), Theresa (Brian Thomason), Pamela (Vincent Immordino) and Michelle Becker; his sisters, Joyce Kleidosty and LaVonne Waters; and his sister-in-law DiAnn Halsted. He is also survived by daughter Zoe Numerous Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews.

A rosary was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (721 Creighton Ave, Hastings, NE 68901). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the West Lawn Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital or ASPCA.
