She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Wilhelmina Sass (Pfeiffer); her husband Albertus Lay; her son Gary Lay; and her brother Dale Sass.
She is survived by: her son Greg Lay of Hastings; her sister Joan Parde of Camarillo, CA; her daughter-in-law Karen Lay of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Cody, Elizabeth Lay of Columbus, Rikki (Lay), James Frey of Lincoln, Chad Lay of Lincoln, Andria (Lay) and Eric Mueller of Minot, ND.; and her great grandchildren, Gavin Lay, Isabel Lay, Madelynn Mueller and Makenzie Mueller.
Memorials may be given to Hanover Presbyterian Cemetery.
