He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Taylor and Ferna Taylor (Sharpe); his wife Beverly Gillaspie (Lyon); his sister Yvonne; his brother-in-law Jerry Needham; and his son-in-law Gary Kent.
He is survived by: his former wife Joan Brown; his children, Laura Kent (Hastings), Randy Taylor (Cindy), Lisa Saraceno (Keith Spangler) and Karen Krueger (York); his close friends, Renee, Kiera Deveny and Christie Cramer; his grandchildren, Cleve, Levi, Jacob, Travis, Gary, Bridgette, Heather, Hannah and Zachary; his great grandchildren, Dylan, Colten, Leah, Lillyan, James, Hendrix, Bradley, Emmett, Kian, Kierstan, Isaiah, Damien, Porter, Jayde, Hudson Felipe, Vayda, Parker, Alexis and Riley; his great great grandchild Sophia; and his niece Susan Needham Allison.
Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
