She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Duer and Annette Duer (Hermann); and her siblings, Norman Duer, Wilma Volzke, Audry Williams and Welden Duer.
She is survived by: her former husband Lloyd Minzel; her children, Barbara, Sherry, Gary Minzel (Judy) of Denton, NE., Heather Minzel (Fran Zafoto), Shelly Minzel of Lincoln and Sean Minzel (Cassi); her grandchildren, Claire and Zoey of Denton, NE; her great grandchild Barbara Stewart (Willie) of Texas; her daughter Angie Knop (Corey) of Colorado; her grandchildren, Riley Knop of Lincoln, Lacie Stewart (Kelley Pickrell) of Texas and Lindsey Stewart; her great grandchild Jaielynn of Texas; and also, Sherry Gartner of Hastings, Emily Gartner of Kearney and Devan Gartner (Emily) of Lincoln.
