He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Shada and Marti Shada-Seeley (Fotopulos); his former wife Fayette Shada (Bunde); his daughter Wendy Shada; and his sisters, Suzanne Shada and Angela Hibbler (Shada).
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Shada (Svoboda); his daughter Michele Holliday (Shorty); his siblings, Jody Gifford (Shada), Paul Shada (Verlene) and George Shada (Mary); his friend Darrell Seeley; and his foster son Kelly Kent. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; step-father.
