It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Galliart of Hastings, Nebraska, born in Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away on September 6, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph L. Dittrick and Lorraine M. Dittrick (Goulding); her husband Milton G. Galliart; her granddaughter Jenna Bloom; her stepson Dennis Galliart; her stepdaughter-in-law Karen Galliart (Ewing); and her siblings, Shirley Holsten, Marie Johnson and Joe Dittrick.
She is survived by: her children, Lorraine Allen (Rick) of Lincoln, NE, Amy Kuefner (Rob) of Lexington, NE, Molly Galliart of Omaha, NE, Julie Bloom (Jeffrey) of Lincoln, NE, Paul Galliart (Jenn) of Colorado Springs, CO and Wendy Galliart of Vancouver, WA; her stepchildren, Allen Galliart (Janet) of Tempe, AZ, Jane Burge (Hank) of Wichita, KS and Wayne Galliart (Debbie) of Belle Plaine, KS; her sister Ruth Albers; her grandchildren, Jordan Bloom (JoJo), Joe Bloom, Alex Kuefner, Liz Lott (Shae), Ben Kuefner, Julia Bloom, Daniel Kuefner, Megan Kuefner, Bo Galliart, Mack Galliart and Louie Heikkinen; her great grandchildren, Noah Bloom and Theadora Bloom; and her stepgrandchildren, Rob Galliart, Chad Burge (Stacey), Mitch Galliart, Andy Galliart (Kat), Nicole Slack (Ryan), Johnny Galliart (Michelle) and Nathan Galliart (Kayleigh). She is also survived by numerous step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
