She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Galen Hay and Mary Hay (Jackson); her husband James P. Cooke; and her children, Paula Schaffner (Paul), Jim Cooke (Kim), Dave Cooke (Linda), Hastings, Rachel Florek (Mike) and Ruth Nielsen (Erik). She was also cherished by Grandchildren: 13 Great-Grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to AAA Pregnancy Resource Center in Hastings, where she had been a volunteer for a number of years.
