She was predeceased by: her parents, George Parmenter and Mary Parmenter (Druse); her husband Harold Steiner of Holstein; her children, Merna Urwin and Larry Steiner; and her great grandchild Maizie Goshorn.
She is survived by: her children, Kenny Steiner (Twila) of Reseda, CA, Corinne Mankin (Gayle) of Hastings and Ron Steiner (Annette) of Hastings; her children-in-law, Lynette Steiner of Holstein and Dick Urwin of Hastings; her grandchildren, Chad Urwin (Tami), Andrea Niemann (Cody), Nathan Steiner (Kylie), Adam Mankin, Travis Steiner (Laura), Mike Mankin (Sky), Troy Steiner, Rachelle Goshorn (Kevin) and Daniel Johnson; and her stepgrandson Greg Gavin.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Apfel Funeral Home - Hastings (505 N Bellevue Ave, Hastings, NE 68901). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Kenesaw Cemetery (18260 W Sundown Rd, Holstein, NE 68950).
Memorials may be given to St. Paul Lutheran church of Holstein or Start Over Rover in Hastings.
