It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lila Lou Gilbert (Hastings, Nebraska), who passed away on June 5, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sisters, Lorene McLaughlin (Avers) and Loretta Erickson (Avers); her daughters, Patricia Griffith (Gilbert) and Claudia Heil (Gilbert); and her granddaughters, Paula Wolfe and Vickie Wood (Griffith).
She is survived by: her husband Vern Gilbert; her sister Lee Ellen Kruger (Avers) of Hastings; her daughters, Dixie Gilbert (Gilbert), Kuehn Gilbert and Dawn Gilbert; her sons-in-law, Tom Griffith and Richard Heil; and her grandchildren, Darren Heil, Brad Griffith, Denise Carpenter (Heil) of Kansas City, Destiny Nyberg (Heil) of Lincoln, Shelly Weidenkeller (Wolfe) of Wichita and Adriana Fragoza of Hastings.
