It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leah A. Johnson of Hastings, Nebraska, born in Holdrege, Nebraska, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Helena Margaret Garrelts and Bunger; her husband Laurence R. Johnson; her daughter Marilyn Mae Flesner-Alexander; her siblings, Paul E. Garrelts and Miriam E.; her brother-in-law Ivan Gellermann; and her son-in-law Ed Thiel.

She is survived by: her children, JoAnn (Bill Kucera), Larry Johnson, Cheryl Thiel, Kenneth (Alicia Johnson) and ColoradoGrandchildren.
