He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence V. Lewis and Cleol A. Lewis (Robinson); his wife Helen Lewis of Mary's Catholic Church; his son Jeffrey Lewis; and his siblings, Monica McCurdy and Ray Lewis.
He is survived by: his children, Sandy Vancura (Alan) of Columbus, NE, Patricia Reilly of Omaha, NE, Mel Lewis (Mindy) of Aurora, NE and Bob Lewis (Jany) of Tyler, TX; and his daughter-in-law Carman Lewis of St. Libory, NE. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren 12 Great Grandchildren Nieces and nephews and many great friends.
