She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Leetsch and Emma Leetsch (Lampmann); her husband Melvin L. Shay; her daughter Tami Shay; her sister LaDelle Shidler; her great grandchild Jonathan Roser; and her parents-in-law, Bernice Shay and Joe Shay (Frances).
She is survived by: her daughter Debi Hill (Rick); her grandchildren, Nick Hill, Mackinzi Hill, Jason Wisner and Darci Wisner; and her siblings, Lloyd Leetsch, Delma Carr, Letha Kral and Alyce Rae Willey. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Apfel Funeral Home - Hastings (505 N Bellevue Ave, Hastings, NE 68901). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Berean Bible Church (316 N Lexington Ave, Hastings, NE 68901). A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at the Kenesaw Cemetery (1907 N Smith Ave, Kenesaw, NE 68956).
